Was Kunden sagen
Die Situation Kundenhardware im Rechenzentrum in Betrieb zu nehmen und dabei feststellen, dass die vom Kunden mitgelieferten Module nicht kompatibel sind, ist nun Geschichte. Nie war man flexibler bei der Inbetriebnahme neuer Netzwerkkomponenten. Ärgerlich, dass wir diese Möglichkeit so spät für uns entdeckt haben. Wie viele Stunden an Arbeit und Ärger wäre uns erspart geblieben? Die Inbetriebnahme und das Beschreiben der Module gestalteten sich dabei denkbar einfach. Über das optionale Zubehör benötigt man dafür nicht mal einen Computer. Es genügt ein Smartphone und die kostenlos bereitgestellt Software des Herstellers aus dem App-Store. Die FLEXBOX selbst wird dabei mittels Akku- und Bluetooth-Adapter mit dem Smartphone verbunden. Zum Beschreiben genügt es das passende Modul einzustecken, gewünschten Profil auszuwählen und den Schreibvorgang zu starten. Nach wenigen Sekunden hat man ein fertig programmiertes Modul. Diese sind, wie der Rest des Zubehöres, hochwertig verarbeitet und machen einen äußerst qualitativen Eindruck.
Eine einfache Bestellung und eine einfache Lieferung. Die Benutzung der FLEXBOX ist genauso einfach. Egal mit welchem Betriebssystem (Linux, Windows, Mac oder Android) die Konfiguration der Module mit der FLEXBOX hat auf Anhieb geklappt, sowas hab ich selten erlebt. Endlich müssen wir bei der Fahrt ins Rechenzentrum nicht mehr darauf achten welche Module von welchen Herstellern wir mitnehmen müssen.
Die FLEXBOX von FLEXOPTIX ist wirklich ein geniales Gerät. Mit ihrer Hilfe können wir Transceiver für eine Vielzahl von Herstellern programmieren, ohne dabei auf spezifische SFPs angewiesen zu sein. Das spart uns nicht nur Zeit und Kosten, sondern reduziert auch den Verwaltungsaufwand erheblich. Die benutzerfreundliche App bietet zahlreiche nützliche Funktionen, wie Power Meter, Wavelength Tuning und Distance Analyzer, die den Arbeitsalltag spürbar erleichtern. Dank FLEXOPTIX müssen wir keine verschiedenen SFPs mehr auf Lager halten - ein paar universelle Transceiver reichen aus. Das ist für uns ein enormer Mehrwert, sowohl intern als auch für unsere Kunden. Die FLEXBOX ist definitiv eine der besten Entwicklungen im Netzwerkbereich seit langem!
Wir sind gerade dabei, unser Hochgeschwindigkeits-Glasfasernetz hier am Standort Heidenheim aufzubauen, und die FLEXBOX spielt dabei eine große Rolle.
Es ist ein großer Vorteil, dass wir unsere Transceiver sofort selbst konfigurieren können.
So muss es sein, wenn das Projekt schnell gehen soll.
