Some environments are currently running on 40G. Adding more 40G connections while upgrading to 100G, often results in double investments which are unnecessary with FLEXOPTIX DAC.
You can use our 100G DAC for 40G connections as well as 100G connections; just program them to 40G as interim solution. You can easily reconfigure the DAC to 100G later on and move on using the same hardware without the need to recycle or throw away anything. Saves money and reduces electronic scrap.
